Hey there! Today i’m going to give you the top 3 places to sell your stuff online.
Also, i’ll give you some actionable steps that you can do today to start making money from it. No fluffy-woo-woo stuff here. Just steps to follow to increase the number in your bank account.
Much of what i’ll share with you here is under the category of “product arbitrage” where you’ll basically become the middle man to connect buyers and sellers of products. This is a fun spot to be in because typically a person selling a product has zero experience in selling, so they tend to sell for less than the value of the product.
The person selling is usually tight on cash and is looking for ways to get cash fast. That means there’s some leg room with pricing and you can often buy products for less money than they originally said they wanted.
Remember, you will hold the power as the buyer. The person who has the cash controls the transaction when a seller is in a tight financial spot.
Find a product that is selling for cheap offline, but people are actively buying it online for more money.
This is the part where most people stop, because it requires actual work. Its actually pretty simple work, just a little time consuming.

To start off with, we’re going to just walk down to the nearest dollar store. Why the dollar store? Well, if you have $10-$20 and go into a dollar store, you can buy a good amount of stuff.
Also, if you can buy 20 things from a dollar store for $20, and you resell each of the products for $2-$3, you double up or triple up your money.

Number of products purchased: 15
Money spent: $20
Average cost per product: $1.33
Let’s just keep it really easy and say you re-sell each of these products for $2, because let’s face it, some of the stuff won’t sell for more than that. So if you have 15 products at a cost of $1.33 to you, you have spent $20…
If you sell each of those 15 products for $2, that’s 15 products x $2 each= $30 in revenue
$30 revenue — $20 initial cost= $10 profit BOOM!
Just like that, you would have made 10 bucks.
Now, it’s not going to be super easy. You’ll actually need to find products that people want to buy… and you’ll do that using the apps like Amazon, eBay and Craigslist.
If you walk into your local dollar store, you can walk around the store and look at different products, keeping the price below $5 per product and then simply type that product name into Amazon, eBay and Craigslist and see what people are buying these products for.
Another good thing you can do is to sell people’s stuff online for them. If you target the baby boomers and helping them with de-cluttering their lives by selling some of their stuff, you can take a flat rate from products sold or charge them up front for selling all their stuff.
